My journey into the high-octane world of racing began in 1996 back when the premier class was still the legendary 500cc.
With a deep-rooted passion for performance and innovation, I developed my thesis on an electro-hydraulic correction system used in the iconic Bugatti EB110 SSP. That same passion drove me to create an advanced vehicle parameter management system, seamlessly integrated with telemetry. The result? A breakthrough that pushed performance beyond what was thought possible in that era of motorcycle racing.
It caught Yamaha’s attention and they brought me onboard to lead data acquisition for their 500cc test team.
That’s where my Grand Prix career launched shoulder to shoulder with world-class talents like Luca Cadalora, Simon Crafar, Régis Laconi, and Norick Abe.
Just three years in, I stepped up as Crew Chief for Honda’s 250cc team with Stefano Perugini. Then, at the turn of the millennium, I joined Aprilia kicking off a golden era of achievements. As Track Chief Engineer, I had the honor of working with champions like Simone Sanna, Roberto Locatelli, Casey Stoner, Alex De Angelis, Louis Salom, Yūki Takahashi, and Jeremy McWilliams.
